So I had a baby, well another one a little man this time, I had told myself just like I told myself with soph that I was going to go over so I would not be disappointed when my due date came and went,... Well with soph my dr. must of had a vacation planned and freely offered to induce me a week early, and as for aksel well heres his story,...
let me just start off by saying I thought that giving birth was a breeze, because everything went so well with soph, went in, got hooked up, got my epidural and about 7 hours later she came out,... well this time around was a little more painful ok ALOT more painful. I now have so much respect for you moms who give birth naturally,..
Anyways it was just a normal day and I was cleaning up the house getting it ready for family to come easter weekend and ironing Johannes work shirts that I had been putting off for like a week,... then it came a contraction just normal I thought, earlier I was looking at an app on my phone that sends daily reminders to you how many more days you have till you have your baby, and I was feeling nervous that the time had been passing so quickly! so after the contraction I noticed the lovely feeling of wetting my pants, awesome, then I realized it was more then that, panicked for a minute and sent Johannes 2 texts and skyped him at work knowing he would think it was a joke, finally I convinced him it wasnt he came home took soph to a neighbor and off we went. Still in shock that I was having a baby 16 days before his due date I was in a really good mood, no pain just dealing with my broken water problem,... anyway fast foward into the hospital, I managed to pack everything I didnt need in the rush that we left, so Johannes went back home and got the stuff I really needed,... while I chilled on a bouncy ball and ate my dinner, after that gave the hot tub in my room a try got bored and got out, not to mention it relaxed me to the point of no contractions. By the time 11:30 rolled around still not in pain we decided to go to sleep, BAM 2:00 smacks me in the face with an ugly contraction. (I never got to the point of painful contractions with soph). So call the nurse hoping to get my relief well by the time it came I had HORRIBLE contractions like lose control and cant calm down, Ugh! so after about four of those beauties I got my epidural, which only nummed my right side, awesome. So after laying on my left side trying to get it numb it finally happened, then fast foward to pushing point, well right before that, Thinking to myself, hmmm I can feel these contractions again prettty good I ask the nurse if I can push my pain reliever button to pump up the drugs, her answer was no, that I needed to be able to feel the pressure so I know when to push, flash back to soph I was pain free and could still feel the need to push. Well after asking her 3 more times and giving Johannes the omg im going to feel every little thing, save me look, he tried to reason with her and the answer was still no, and now its to late. Ok so you know in the movies where women give birth and they are screaming weird crap, death threats and about to rip there husbands hand off? ya that was me, seriously. I have never EVER been in so much pain in my life, I cant even remember what I said or why I said it, all I remember is the dr. telling me to listen to him during the contraction and I was about ready to kick him in the balls and tell him to listen to me during the contraction, Seems over dramatic right? no not in the slighest,... so aksel came out and the ONLY thing that was good about my epidural wearing off before due time was the fact that my recovery has been awesome.
So here were are Im in love all over again, and its awesome, but I will never go thru something like that again EVER if I can help it.
So once again to all you amazing women out there that have super human powers and have natural child birth without threatening to kill someone, or rip that baby out yourself, your my hero.

My life in boxes
Well we have semi moved to Switzerland,.. we have been there since the 2nd of Jan. But our stuff has been in Munich,.. so that means playing soccer in the living room with soph is the highlight of my day. Not to mention the fact that we have gone to swisscom 5 times to try to get a phone and internet and every time we have gone we do not have the right papers,... Apparently you have to prove to them your Swiss, (which Johannes is but doesn't have a proper Swiss id, and his passport is from Austria), and having a family book proving he is Swiss plus registration plus a Swiss id card from his childhood inst enough,... so we have to wait until my visa type papers some stating that I can legally live there or for Johannes to get his Swiss id card in the mail, to get any type of phone or internet. So that's been really fun living the past few weeks in a bare apartment, with no contact with anyone, well our landlord who has been very kind to us, borrowed us a park bench type table so we have somewhere to eat, and a mattress so we don't have to sleep on a blow up one. So its not all bare, but thanks to training days for Johannes and trying to rent a truck we had to wait about a month to get our stuff. So the week has finally come after what felt like a year of waiting, that we get to have our stuff. So after doing that really super fun glucose test at the Dr. and having my blood taken three times, Sophie and I took our sketchy fall apart car for the 3.5 hour drive yesterday (thankfully it made it/ and it will be sold ) to Munich so that I can get a head start on packing, and cleaning, also to have internet/ contact with my family :) Thankfully we have only lived here for a year and haven't gathered that much crap, and we didn't bring anything other then clothes with us from the states so it made packing not so annoying. Then when Johannes comes Friday with some man power we will load up the truck and head back to Switzerland and make our new house a home! yay, and hopefully get phone and internet soon,.... And I am still prego yay! three more months left, getting large, and trying to enjoy this pregnancy, and my sleep knowing that in threeish months I will have forgotten what a full nights rest feels like. But we are so excited to meet our little guy, and introduce him into our crazy life! also it was nice to get back to Utah for a few weeks and see family and some of our friends, And to eat some or all of the fast food and some of the restaurants that we have missed. So until next time when I have my precious internet :)

Anybody care to hear me complain? I didnt think so, but im doing it anyway
Ok so Im sure Johannes is so sick of listening to me complain, But seriously the last month has been a little to much for this prego. I thought being pregnant the first time was hard but now with a toddler to take care of the first time around was cake!! seriously tho how do people have all these kids and not end up in the corner rocking back and forth talking to themselves! Everything was going just fine and I thought, wow this pregnancy is going to be great and fly by, and I guess that it has been great, its not the pregnancy that has me running for the hills its the two year old. Little sophie marie has decided that for the last month she wants to be sick, with everything, seriously tho everything. First it starts off with the usual cough and runny nose that goes on for a week then it turns into our old friend that never went away last winter bronchitis, Then for kicks she decides to throw up, acts normal for two days and then the night that daddy comes back into town (I will complain about that later in my post) she decides that she doesnt want him to miss out on all the fun and gives him a good covering in barf for two days. Which he handled like a champ since for some weird reason ever since she was a little tiny one she has always found it comforting to barf all over daddy. ( im not to jealous of this little bond that they have). So when the barfing subsided, the cough and runny nose that was gone for a day came back, and then came the runny butt which is the stage that we are in now. So now we have a cough that is not allowing her to take naps, or sleep at night, add on to that a child so sensitive she throws a fit if you look at her wrong and runny butt, fun. Now on to the Johannes complaint, He is finishing up his last few weeks at his current job and we are grateful for that, now more then ever since the past few weeks I have been a single mom (since he is gone out of town during the week and only home for the weekend) with no relief at the end of the day, no sleep and no sohie nap time, you know its bad when your husband informs you its more relaxing for him to be away at work then to be home. rub it in jerk. And for the icing on the suck cake, I finally got sophie down for a nap without a cough attack and maybe an hour into her nap (which normally she sleeps for 3 hours) the construction workers came today to replace our balcony which is connected to her room and all the noise scared the crap out of her and no more nap time,... so heres for hoping that sophie has gone thru every sickness for the winter this past month and will be healthy for the rest of the winter, ya right.
Good news is we are going to utah in a week (praying for soph to feel better). And I had my 20 week check-up with the little man where they did an extensive ultra sound and they checked inside every organ to make sure its all working properly, And no im not high risk or anything but apparently they do that for everyone out here, I didnt complain. So he is looking pretty perfect so far :)

Its boring to live in the same place for longer then a year,....
Ya we are moving,.... Again, then no more moving for awhile for us, im tired. This time we are off to Luzern Switzerland, where the cows roam and the cheese flows freely, jk. Johannes got an amazing job offer that we just couldnt say no too. So that means the next few months are going to be crazy for us, we will move in Jan and then welcome little man into the family in April. Also what adds to the fun is that we have a trip planned to Utah for the end of december and we will be back in Munich on Jan. 1st, and Johannes starts his job on Jan 3rd. yay. We are very excited for the new challenge, and I cant really complain about moving to Luzern, its beautiful there, plus with the new job Johannes wont have to travel so i will actually have a husband that comes home at night, that will be weird,.. So heres to the new year, new job, new country and new baby!!!!

summer time
Well its mid July and I must say that the weather out here IS NOT what I am used to being from Utah, Its humid and when its not raining, which seems like never its so hot, but I suppose I will get used to it. Anyways we have been keeping ourselves busy here and there, we went to a family reunion a few weeks ago in Austria, where I got to meet Johannes sweet great grandma who is 94! too bad she doesnt speak english and I was not willing to embarrass myself by trying to speak german to her. Then we went to the Ammersee which is a lake about 30 min drive from here which puts any lake in Utah to shame, after that I trained and ran an 11k race with Sophie, which doesnt seem like it should be hard but running with a stroller is not ideal, even tho I love going with her, and she seems to love it too, unless I cover her with a rain guard then she freaks. Oh and I cant forget to mention this sexy singer from Tollwood.

Johannes and I went to the city that he grew up in, and there is a hill and at the top there is this church, the most amazing view of the city and this creeper.
Playing around the water at the city center
Johannes and his great grandma
This is the view from our balcony, its such a pretty church, they are repairing it now, hence half of it covered up, but Im getting tired of the bells that go off every 15 min.
Cheers!! soph stole my drink after the race
I had to laugh when I ran thru the band, its not everyday you have a german band singing for you while you run.
